Blue Zues

I’m excited to share my latest project, where I’m handling the audio post, sound design, and mixing for Blue Zeus. This film offers a moving portrayal of Wild Mustangs, delving into their grace and resilience. It highlights Skydog Ranch, a sanctuary in Malibu dedicated to these incredible animals, while also examining the practices of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and their impact on the Mustang population.

Blue Zeus is more than just a story about horses, it’s about their survival and the people committed to protecting them. Through sound, I aim to draw viewers into the Mustangs’ world. From the rustling of the wind to the powerful thundering of hooves across open land, the sound design is crafted to make the audience feel connected to the life and spirit of these wild creatures.

To enhance the viewer’s experience, the film will be mixed in Dolby Atmos, offering a fully immersive audio experience. Every subtle detail, from the ambient sounds of the ranch to the sheer force of a Mustang herd in motion, will envelop the audience, making them feel as if they are standing right there in the midst of it all.

Working on this film’s audio post has been both challenging and incredibly fulfilling. Capturing the raw beauty of the ranch and the untamed nature of the Mustangs is crucial to the emotional tone of the story. The balance between their serene environment and the adversity they face is something I’ve strived to enhance through sound.

I’m thrilled to be a part of Blue Zeus, alongside the incredible video work of Chris Alstrin of Alstrin Cinema and the beautiful musical scores composed by Bradford Ellis. Together, we aim to shine a spotlight on the Wild Mustangs and the vital work being done at Skydog Ranch.

Stay tuned for updates on my social media platforms as we continue bringing this important film to life.
