I am a seasoned Producer, Mix, and Mastering Engineer based in Monument, Colorado, specializing in crafting high-quality records that stand out. My journey into music and studio production began at 14, when I was fortunate to learn from my mentor and good friend, Chris Keffer, at Magnetic North Studios in Cleveland.
I launched my first studio, TBR Studio – The Basement Recording Studio, running it successfully for seven years before relocating to Denver in 2007. While balancing a day job, I continued refining my mixing skills at night, leading to the creation of Monument Sound—a private studio nestled at 7,400 feet in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The serene environment and breathtaking backdrop provide the perfect space for creative work.
In 2022, I took Monument Sound to the next level, upgrading to a Dolby-approved ATMOS mixing room. This allows me to deliver immersive, three-dimensional mixes that redefine how music is experienced, ensuring artists can compete in today’s rapidly evolving audio landscape.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with artists worldwide across various genres, though my passion lies in rock, pop, and country. While my primary focus is mixing and mastering, I occasionally take on select production and engineering projects. As a film enthusiast, I also love working on independent films as a post-audio specialist, bringing cinematic projects to life through sound.
My approach is simple: create records that not only capture an artist’s unique sound but also stand out in an industry flooded with similar production styles. Whether working on a song, an album, or a film, my goal is to deliver a polished, dynamic, and emotionally compelling final product that keeps listeners engaged and artists coming back.
