I am an accomplished Producer, Mix, and Mastering Engineer residing in the town of Monument, Colorado. My journey into the world of music and studio craftsmanship began at the age of 14, a pivotal moment crystallized during recording sessions with my mentor and good friend, Chris Keffer, at Magnetic North Studios in Cleveland.
Fueling my passion, I founded my first small home studio, “TBR Studio – The Basement Recording Studio,” which operated successfully for seven years. In 2007, a career move brought me to Denver, prompting the closure of my studio. However, this marked a new chapter as I immersed myself in mixing records at night while focusing on my day job.
A turning point occurred in 2007 when my professional path led me to Monument, Colorado. Here, against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains’ foothills, I established Monument Sound—my private home studio located at an elevation of 7400 feet. The studio’s serene environment and proximity to Pikes Peak provides me with an inspiring space to create.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with artists from around the globe, exploring diverse genres. Although my expertise spans various styles, I have a particular fondness for rock, pop, and country. While my primary focus now lies in mixing and mastering, I occasionally undertake projects as a producer and engineer. Additionally, being a movie fanatic, I love contributing to independent films as an post-audio specialist.
Working closely with artists, my goal is to create the best possible product. I constantly seek innovative approaches, believing in the importance of representing the artist’s unique sound while infusing my signature sound into the music landscape. In a world saturated with similar sounds, my mission as a producer and mixer is to ensure that the artist’s material is preserved and presented in a way that captivates listeners, leaving them yearning for more and clients for years.
