Hailing from the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, the Country/Folk ensemble “Smoke & The Poet” recently collaborated Producer/Engineer, Gordon Davies of Singletrack Audio, resulting in a collection of extraordinary songs. This week, they unveiled a single from their upcoming album, “Road from Virginia.” Entitled “4 Speeds, No More,” the track boasts a simple yet profound tone, enriched with captivating melodies and intricate textures.
Having been recommended to Monument Sound by Gordon himself for mastering, the band opted to take a unique approach. They decided to have Gordon print stems, send them to us and dive into the immersive world of ATMOS. The spatial audio format not only complements the track exceptionally well but elevates it by enveloping the listener in a tapestry of textures that resonate throughout the room.
